Bruno Dumont

Biography

He was born in Bailleul, France, in 1958. He taught Philosophy, and directed many ads, short films and documentaries. His first feature film was The Life of Jesus (1997); it was followed by Humanity (1999; Grand Prix at Cannes), Twentynine Palms (2002) and Flanders (2005; also Grand Prix at Cannes).
