Alexander Sokurov

Biography

He was born in 1951 in Siberia. He majored in History and then entered the Moscow Film Institute. Many of his films were screened at Bafici; the festival held a retrospective of his work in 2002, which included?Spiritual Voices?(1995),?A Humble Life?(1997) and?Elegy of a Voyage?(2001).?
