Synopsis

The winter is coming to an end. There’s a certain vibration in the sunlight, in the lightening water, in the movement of the leaves, branches, rushes, and trees. Every encounter with a local from this unknown area –marked by strange tones of voice and a particular humor– generates something. The moods change, affected by hidden movements. As if they were taken by a larger force, something involving. You can feel the beginning of the spring in the wide irregular road of Brandenburg, which surrounds Berlin. All through that road, we’re subtly set into the rhythm of nature’s almost imperceptible change by the light, the tones of shadow, and the sounds. The resulting effect is odd: a feeling that the road is always the best thing, and destination is just the pretext to go through it.
