    Synopsis

    Full of loops and poetic visual interrogations, with animation by Dave McKean that gives the film a distinctive graphic feel, Asylum marks the most extreme collaboration between Chris Petit and Iain Sinclair. Part science-fiction, part neo-noir investigation, it conjures up a world of mysteriously vanished blondes, female agents/sound recordists, digital overload and the viral landscape of television, the bending of fact and fiction and a journey into the literary badlands, represented by authors who both “write and are written”.
