Synopsis

In time, love stories inevitably become melancholic and sad. In First Fight in Venice two voices complement (and contradict) each other in order to narrate in the present tense the beginnings of a relationship out of the images and memories that come from a happy and promising past. The importance of memory and its frailty are the main characters of this love story between what has been and what remains, which goes on following the continuing rhythm of an 8mm projector’s sound.
