Synopsis

Pimply, hormonal 14-year-old Hervé (Vincent Lacoste) and his heavy-metal sidekick Camel (Anthony Sonigo) burst onto the screen in this gleefully crude coming-of-age comedy from French comic book artist Riad Sattouf. When Hervé catches the eye of his beautiful, self-assured classmate Aurore (Alice Trémolière), it turns his whole sexually frustra-ted world upside down. Then there’s Camel, who lives in fear of Hervé scoring before he does, and Hervé’s nosy single mom, who would love to see her son find a girlfriend… and give up that wadded-up sock on the nightstand.
