Synopsis
Film material is usually associated to fire. But this element is not the only one capable of producing, in its emulsions, such irresistibly beautiful images as the ones of burning celluloid through the window of a projector. A slower process, but no less wonderful, is the one of film being exposed to water for a certain period of time. Twenty-four frames per second: each one of them is almost an autonomous art piece; each one different from the next; all of them similar in their hypnotic attraction. The magic of cinema doesn’t extend to much more than what Blocking has to offer.
