Synopsis

A short film made by Chaplin for Keystone (A Film Johnnie, 1914) is transformed into a big mosaic: all of its shots are reunited in one single framing, forming a collage which ties a synchronic bond with all the images in a loop, and creates an effect that, among other things, decomposes, restructures and explains the original footage. One of the finest exponents of the Austrian found footage movement, Norbert Pfaffenbichler finds an original path where montage and shot enter a challenging game that opens new perspectives for rethinking the keys of the cinematographic form.
