Michael Hirsh

He was born in Brussels, Belgium, in 1948, and attended the University of York in Toronto, Canada. In 1971 he funded the production company Nelvana, through which he produced animated series such as The Care Bears and Babar. He currently directs the child entertainment company Cookie Jar Group.
