D.A. Pennebaker

Born in Illinois in 1925, he graduated in Electrical Engineering at Yale University. He directed, amongst others, Don’t Look Back (1967), Monterey Pop (1968), The War Room (1993), Down from the Mountain (2000), all included in the retrospective on him and his wife (and regular co-director) Chris Hegedus held by Bafici in 2007, and Kings of Pastry (Bafici ’10).
