Raul Ruiz

Born in 1941 in Puerto Montt, Chile, he lives in France since 1973, and directed more than 200 films. The Bafici ’04 held a retrospective of his work which included his debut film, Tres Tristes Tigres (1968), El realismo socialista and Palomita blanca (both in 1973); the Bafici ‘09 screened, among others, Dialogues of Exiles (1975) and Marcel Proust's Time Regained (2008).
