Mauricio Rial Banti

He was born in Paraguay and studied Filmmaking at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. He worked in Paraguayan TV and was an assistant director in Ahendu nde sapukai (P. Lamar; awarded in Bafici ’08) and Karai norte (M. Martinessi, 2009). He directed the fiction short films La gota que colmó el vaso, ¿Por qué no?, and Silenciado, among others. Paraguayan Train is his first feature.
