Amelia Eguia

She was born in Buenos Aires in 1976, but she lives and works in Milan, Italy. There, she founded with Julián Mantel, the group Toba Toba through which they made objects and installations, and also directed animates shorts like Tumbi Tom and the Creature of the Jungle, Tumbi Tom and the Bad Ice-cream (both in 2006) and The Nutu’s Shining (2009). All three were screened in Bafici ’09.
