Takashi Miike

Born in Osaka, Japan, in 1960. He studied film in Yokohama, under the tutelage of Shohei Imamura. Of his extraordinary, prolific career, the Bafici screened Dead or Alive (‘00), Audition, The City of Lost Souls (‘01), Dead or Alive 2, Agitator, The Happiness of the Katakuris (‘02) and Sukiyaki Western Django (’08), among others.
