Nicolás Rubió

He was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1928. He went into exile with his family, first in France and later in Argentina. In 1957 he took part in the mythical art exhibition ¿Qué cosa es
el coso? at the Fine Arts Promoting Society, which gave birth to the informalist movement. A painter and sculptor, he’s also considered to be both the re-discoverer and one of the main figures of Buenos Aires fileteado.
