Monte Hellman

Born in New York, USA, in 1932, he studied Drama at Stanford University and Filmmaking at the University of California.
A protegée of Roger Corman, his first film was Beast from Haunted Cave (1959). Flight to Fury (1964),
Ride in the Whirlwind (1965), The Shooting (1967) and Two-Lane Blacktop (1971), among others, were screened at the focus on his work held by Bafici ‘05.
