Hippolyte Girardot

Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, in 1955, he started acting in Aline Issermann’s The Destiny of Juliette (1983), and later worked in films by Jean-Luc Godard, Olivier Assayas, Arnaud Desplechin, Hou Hsiao-hsien and Amos Gitaï, among many others. Yuki & Nina is his first credit as screenwriter and director.
