Synopsis
When their father dies, four very different brothers get together after a long time (they wasn’t even aware one of them actually existed) in the outskirts of Vienna. A weekend of mourning in the country inevitably becomes an environment where family tension grows up to the limit while these people try to deal with the legacy they received. On one hand, the now absent father will come back to life not just in the ghostly form in which he is still haunting them, but also through flashbacks that take us to a strange past as kids living together in a hippie commune where drugs and free love weren't exotic, and from where they all escaped as soon as they had the chance. It's a past full of secrets, violence, and lies, that sooner or later will be revealed only to reshape the present with that almost intrinsic ability Austrian cinema has for mixing beautiful places with sordidness and perversion and never loosing its elegance or its visual appeal.
