Synopsis
These things happen when making a catalog: one has to write about a film no one has seen yet… but by the time this is printed and in your hand, there will already be around 500 reviews available. Now, we’re only a few days away from its world premiere and all we have are rumors. Let’s see: you already know Torrente, and if you don’t, then you don’t deserve him. We know the following: this fourth installment will be projected in 3D (there’s a beautiful 3D teaser online). Torrente has a new sidekick, Julito (the famous Kiko Rivera). At one point, he goes to jail and he wriggles it by organizing a soccer match between inmates and officials, emulating one of his favorite films: Victory (yes, that one made by Huston that featured Ardiles). In that game there are many guest soccer players from Spain… and we know all about the ego of these champions. At one point, he farts and then tries to stuck it in Julito’s face with his hand (we saw that in another trailer). The film opens in Spain with over 600 prints, an obscenity… But Bafici enjoys excess, so we deserved a guest like this.
