Manongo Mujica

Born in Lima, Peru, in 1950, since the end of the 1970s he’s one of the leading percussionists fusing jazz and afroperuvian rhythms. Some of his albums are Mundos (1989), Canto a Bernardo (1992), Tribal (1992) and Perujazz (2002). He made the music for several films and TV shows. He’s also a painter.
