Koji Wakamatsu

Born in Wakuja, Japan, in 1936. He worked as construction worker before beginning his career as director of pink films, first at the Nikkatsu studio and then independently. He made more than one hundred films; Secrets Behind the Wall (1965), Go, Go Second Time Virgin (1969) and United Red Army (2008) among them. Bafici ’08 programmed a focus on 16 of his films.
