José María de Orbe

He was born in San Sebastián, Spain, in 1958, and graduated in Filmmaking at the American Film Institute. He produced such films as The Hours of the Day (Jaime Rosales, Bafici ‘04) and The Blue Bull (Daniel V. Villamediana, Bafici ’09), and directed the shorts Lifeguard (1985) and Crossroads (2005), among others. His first feature film was La línea recta (2006, Bafici ’07).
