Sion Sono

Born in 1961 in Toyokawa, Japan, by 17 he was already a published and renowned poet. His first short film I Am Sion Sono! (1985), was followed by A Man’s Hanamichi (1987) and the features Bicycle Sighs (1990), The Room (1994), Suicide Club (Bafici ‘03), Noriko's Dinner Table and Strange Circus (both screened at Bafici ’06) and Love Exposure (Bafici ’09), among others.
