Martin Scorsese

Born in New York, USA, in 1942, he studied Film there and made his directorial debut with Who's That Knocking at My Door? (1967). Then followed Taxi Driver (1976), Raging Bull (1980), Goodfellas (1990), The Departed (2006; Academy Awards for Best Director and Picture), and Shine a Light (Bafici ’08), among many others.
