Nikolaj Arcel

Born in 1972 in Copenhagen, Denmark, he studied at the National Film School of Denmark, where he graduated with the medium-length film Woyzeck's Last Symphony (2001). He directed the features King’s Game (2004) and Island of Lost Souls (2007), and co-wrote with Rasmus Heisterberg the scripts of Journey to Saturn (T. Christoffersen and C. Frank, 2008) and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (N.A. Oplev, 2009).
