Carla Valencia Dávila

Born in Ecuador, she worked was an editor for the documentary features Tu sangre (2005), Alfaro vive carajo! and Cuba, el valor de una utopía (both in 2007) and as a production designer in the fiction films Estas no son penas (2006) and Sin otoño y sin primavera (2011). She directed the shorts Restos (2004) and Emilia (2006). Abuelos is her first feature film.
