Mathieu Amalric

Born in 1965 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, he starred in films by such directors as Iosseliani, Resnais, Tsai Ming-liang, and Bertrand Bonello (On War; Bafici ’09), and also played the villain in 007 - Quantum of Solace (2008). As a filmmaker, he made several short films as well as the features Mange ta soupe (1997) and Wimbledon Stage (2001).
