Synopsis
“A creepy-funny-disturbing portrait of apartment living in the Big Apple”, said Scott Foundas summing up the new short film by the Safdie. Benny himself is John, who is alone and prematurely faced against the hostility from neighbours who can’t speak his language and whom he accidentally sprays with cockroach poison, with painful consequences. The strangers he meets while selling the complete contents of his apartment online are not that much nicer. John will sail between those strange and uncomfortable relationships the best way he can. Although, we should say he actually gets shipwrecked.
