Bruno Bettati

Bio

Born in Chile, he was as a script supervisor, assistant director and production chief before turning into a film producer and consultant. In 2001 he co-created with Ilan Stehberg the production company Jirafa Films, based in Valdivia, which produced television series, shorts and feature films like El cielo, la tierra y la lluvia (José Luis Torres Leiva, BAFICI 2008), Huacho (Alejandro Fernández Almendras, 2009) and Manuel de Ribera (Christopher Murray and Pablo Carrera, BAFICI 2010). Since 2007, he has been the executive producer of the Valdivia International Film Festival, and now is also its director. In addition, he is the president of the Film and TV Production Association of Chile.
