Sacha Polak

Born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in 1982, she graduated from the Dutch Film and TV Academy with the short film Teer (2006). She later directed the shorts El Mourabbi (2007), Drang (2008) and Brother (2011), and the medium length film Under the Table (also in 2008). Hemel is her first feature film.
