Miguel Gomes

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1972, he studied Filmmaking in that city and worked as a film critic between 1996 and 2000. In 2009, Our Beloved Month of August won the International Competition in Bafici. That same year there was a retrospective of his short films and his first feature The Face You Deserve (2004).
