He was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has an MA in Filmmaking at Columbia University in New York. He directed, among others, the shorts La muerte es pequeña, Salt Kiss (both in 2006) and Casa grande (2008), which were screened in festivals such as Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand and NewYork.
