Milagros Mumenthaler

She was born in Argentina in 1977 and grew up in Switzerland. After some years, she returned to Buenos Aires to study at the Universidad del Cine. She has directed four short films, including El patio (Best Short at BAFICI ’04). Back to Stay, her first feature film, received the Golden Leopard for best film at Locarno 2011.

Fulvio Bernasconi

He was born in Lugano, Switzerland, in 1969. He studied political sciences at the University of Geneva before entering the Lausanne film school. He directed Voie de garaje (1995), Powerful Men (2005) and the interactive film SwissLove (2002), among others.

Manuel Polls

He was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1960 but moved with his family to Malaga after two weeks. In Catalonia, he studied biology and stepped into the world of film as a critic. He directed Un silencio demasiado ruidoso (2000-2002) and Recuerdos de un olvido (2003-2007), among others.

Felipe Monroy

He was born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1983. He moved to Switzerland in 2007 and studied film at the Geneva School of Art and Design. He directed the short films Pas un seule mot (2008), Deux nuits et un jour d'amour (2009) and Carla (2010).

Chantal Michel

She was born in Berne, Switzerland, in 1968. She studied ceramics before attending the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts in Germany. Throughout her artistic career, she has dedicated herself to photography, video and performance art, and her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions.

Ricardo Bernasconi

Born in Sorengo, Switzerland, in 1984. He studied multimedia design at the New Academy of Fine Arts of Milan and completed a master of film direction and screenplay at the Zurich University of the Arts. He directed the shorts Boffer Bings (2004), La città invisible (2006) and Il trattamento (2007), among others.

Thomas Ammann

He was born in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1987. He studied in the Geneva School of Art and Design and attended workshops taught by Albert Serra, Miguel Gomes and Apichatpong Weerasethakul. He directed the short films 4587 (2009) and Pha Nok Kok (2011).

Louise Gillard

Born in Besançon, France, in 1989, Louise studied in the film department of the Geneva School of Art and Design and directed the short film Gus (2008) and the documentary Ici et là (2010).
