Rodrigo Pla

Born in 1968 in Montevideo, Uruguay, he studied Filmmaking at the Film Training Center in Mexico. He directed the short films Novia mía (1995) and El ojo en la nuca (2000), and the features La zona (2007; Best First Film at the Venice Film Festival), The Desert Within (2008) and the segment 30-30 in the collective film Revolución (2010).
