Synopsis
Loud music, drinks, pills, strolls, the night ends, the day rises, more loud music, and everything starts all over again. Anna Pavlova lives to party, she feels she’s the heart of it and that she knows and goes through the Berlin night scene like no one else does. The daughter of a prestigious and aristocratic Russian family dedicated to the arts, Anna has chosen a somewhat more rebellious path that is pretty destructive. Theo Solnik spends months following her, and sometimes he interacts with her and they get a level of intimacy that allows them to praise and reproach each other, and even quarrel about money. While the camera is on, we can see her at constant partying, looking for temp jobs that would give her some money to keep partying, telling us her story –her successes and sorrows– and even reflecting on German society, life in Europe, her excessive drinking, and even some lashing words to her grandmother.
