Synopsis

At first, we might confuse the main couple in this story with a typical marriage from ancient China. But as soon as we learn they’re named “Gazer Man” and “Aroma Woman” and we see them deal with domestic problems in very unorthodox ways, we begin to suspect there’s nothing typical about them. And it’s because Gazer Man and Aroma Woman are two popular superheroes who decided to retire and live in anonymity. Inevitably, they will be forced to get back in the game after several years away from adventure, and that’s when the fun starts. Filled with visual ideas, infinite kicking, rooftop jumps, and simple yet beautiful special effects, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible mixes cartoon craziness with martial arts acrobatics and the innocence of the action genre. Any expectation for narrative coherence or deep meaning should be left at the door before entering the theater. And get ready to enjoy what you see on the screen as you did back when you were 6 years old.
