Synopsis

A journey of initiation as the end of a game, and a goodbye to adolescence as the odyssey of an unsynchronized movement: Juanma Brignole’s first film is about a collective rite of passage where all perspectives melt together in the same generational ritual. Without forcing Mesopotamia’s beauty but rather setting the action in some anonymous outskirts, a group of friends travels to the Misiones landscape to catch a concert by Fun People, the hardcore band that marked the rock scene in the 1990s. We never know exactly when this story is taking place, as these teenagers wander through their own songs of friendship and love, miseries and tenderness. There’s some sadness and frustration here, but also the agitated spirit of a hurried and improvised adventure that becomes powerful when you see it as the starting point for writing an intimate punk song.
