Jem Cohen

He was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 1962. In 2007, Bafici held a retrospective that screened several of his films, including Instrument (1999), Benjamin Smoke (2000) and Chain (2004). Bafici ‘08 screened his short film Smells Like Teen Spirit, and his feature-length film Evening’s Civil Twilight in Empires of Tin was screened in Bafici ‘09.
