Synopsis

Mao and Lenin, a peculiar couple of punk girls, meet Marcia, a chubby girl with a monotonous and pathetic life who sells lingerie in Buenos Aires. Mao falls in love with Marcia right from the start, and she kidnaps her with the help of Lenin. Suddenly, the trio leaves Buenos Aires and accidentally ends up in Rosario. Now, a completely different side of the same story unfolds when Lenin’s very old aunt Blanca and her two tenants Felipe and Delia come to the scene. What started as an energetic and erratic road movie gets slowly transformed into the luminous portrait of the encounter between lonely souls who at first share moments of warmness and tenderness, but later face loss and pain. Apparently small details add one layer after another on a simple story where the feeling of imminent discovery makes you anxiously expect the unexpected. A story of loneliness, encounters, and above all, the search for affection –so suddenly.
