News | NEW SCREENINGS AT THE PLANETARIUM

Just like in 2012, “Planetarium Cinema” – offering excellent programming at a full-dome theater with a 360-degree view – is one of the most popular sections of the Festival. As of today, Sunday, due to sold-out screenings and at the request of the audience, you can purchase tickets for the 24 new screenings of the films programmed in this section (check out days and times here). Tickets can be purchased on this website or in person at the Festival’s venues. The films with additional screenings are Wish You Were Here and The Dark Side of the Moon, based on the music from Pink Floyd’s famous albums; the shorts The Beautiful+The Sublime, on the convergence of cinema and contemporary dance; El universo de Escher, about the life and work of Dutch artist M.C. Escher), and Kilpisjarvella, which follows two explorers as they search for the aurora borealis in the North Pole.
