Gottfried Kolditz

He was born in Altenbach, Germany, in 1922. He studied German Philology, Directing and Acting. He worked in theater and, since 1955 until his death in 1982, he was a scriptwriter and director of both short and feature length films at the DEFA studios. Some of them are Trail of the Falcon (1968), Apachen (1973) and Ulzana (1974).
