Petra Costa

Born in 1983 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, she graduated in Anthropology from the University of Columbia, in New York, and later continued her training in the London School of Economics. Since 1996, she’s a film and theater actress. She directed the short film Undertow Eyes (2009). Elena is her first feature-length film.
