Bio

Born in 1979 in Montevideo, Uruguay, he grew up in Israel and lives in Brazil since 2004. He studied at the FAAP Film School in Sao Paulo. He directed the short films Grandmothers (2009) and Oma (2011), and the film Avanti popolo (2012), winner of the Best Film at the Rome Film Festival’s CineMaxxi, and screened in this edition of the Festival. He’s currently a teacher in the AIC in Sao Paulo, and is developing his new project Donde mueren los elefantes, with Diego Lerer.
