Les Mentettes Orchestra 's biography

This is the new project of Les Mentettes, a band of alternative rock that has been known by the public after its EP “Let´s Mentettes” was released in 2008. In this format, the orchestra occupies four rows: strings, woodwinds, winds with metals, and a rock band. The project was created so as to perform a different version of the first album. The rhythms, melodies, harmonies, and moods of the songs are shown with the difference of colours and the amount of musicians. Apart from its own repertoire, the orchestra performs covers of Hoagy Carmichael, Nina Simone and Joni Mitchell .
