Nairobi

This is a band of “organic, rhythmic and sticky” dub who joined in 2008. They played in clubs and festivals of Buenos Aires, included the local edition of “Creamfields”. In January 2009, they performed two concerts together with Mad Professor and Macka B. In March 2009 they mixed up their first album in London, together with Professor. In June they released “Wu Wei: Nairobi meets Mad Professor”, with Lee “Scratch” Perry performing in two of the songs. This was the first Argentine band to take part in the Glastonbury Festival, England. During January and February 2010, they recorded their second album, with the collaboration of Roberto Petinatto playing the sax. In March, the album was mixed up again in Ariwa Sounds, London
