Welcome to a new edition of Ciudad Emergente, welcome twice to the cinema inside the festival or the rock inside the cinema, ultra-mega nourishing show that this year, in tune with trends, is in the middle of the road between the World Pop Cinema, the open interns or the pure and simple antinomies, which are so trendy. So, there will be battles to watch on full volume such as the classic between Oasis vs. Blur, a strange match between “reality vs. fiction” (through a documentary and a novel), Loquillo vs. Abuelo, Morrysey against the rest of the Smiths, the mirror to detect who is the most (painfully) outrageous and (brightly) brilliant between Daniel Johnston and Benjamin Smoke, and, finally, a deceitful “yesterday vs. today”, embodied in the Rockilde vs. T.A.M.I Show festival, a treasure that maybe (maybe, maybe) would be the best rock movie ever filmed.
