A new character has appeared recently: the VJ, an artist who produces a new format of visual stimulus. The VJ is a common character nowadays in clubs, dance floors, stages and tents around the world. Proper control over the software as well as over the development of the hardware is fundamental in this area. Artists of graphic design, animation, video, and fine arts, among other artistic expressions nurture this new field. This artistic duet, the DJVJ, already consolidated in flyers and screens, has stimulated the relationship between music and images, since it is part of the communication codes of the new generations.
