Juan Pablo Gómez

Juan Pablo Gómez is a young theater director with a multidisciplinary and unorthodox background; he is an acrobats coach, night events music arranger and a Combined Arts Course student at Universidad de Buenos Aires. Having studied with Daniel Casablanca, Cristina Moreira, Pompeyo Audivert and Ricardo Bartís, he worked in different theater areas and the physical theater as well; he has dedicated himself to play writing and theater direction. He was Rafael Spregelburd´s Direction Assistant and his first play debut was in 2001 Marambio at Centro Cultural Rojas. His third play Rabies is Back (Vuelve la rabia) has the collaboration of Walter Jakob and it received the Primer Premio de Guiones de Teatro awarded by Metrovias and the Third Prize in the Colihue Contest and its later publishing. A Hole has been three seasons on stage and was awarded Teatro XXI for Best Direction.
