Enrico Casagrande y Daniela Nicolò

Enrico Casagrande and Daniela Nicolò founded Motus in 1991. The name of this company captures their interest for investigating physical and social movements related to political action. These interdisciplinary artists, who besides creating theatrical works also produce installations, performances, and videos, explore in their repertoire the interrelation between social reality and fiction. Works on Beckett, Pasolini, and Fassbinder preceded the project Syrma Antigónes -- a series of works in which Motus proposes a dialogue between the myth of the revolutionary who defies state law, Antigone, and today’s youth.
