Description
After its appearance in festivals in Berlin, Hong Kong, Istambul, Shanghai, Karlovy Vary and Moscow, and winning the German Cinema Award for Best Documentary, finally desembarks in Buenos Aires Pina by Win Wenders, a film about the life and work of the German choreographer Pina Bausch who died in 2009. The film will have its premiere on Monday September 26th at 8pm in the auditorium number six (6) of Village Recoleta Cinema, in the framework of the German Film Festival.
The remarkable director filmed this work in 3D with the participation of the dancing company of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch; and it is an invitation for to submerge in a unique trip of visual and sensual discovery and experience. The film takes place on the stage and in the theater of the legendary dance company, in the city and in the industrial surroundings of Wuppertal which was Pina Bausch’s cradle for her creative life for more than 35 five years. A superb window to go deep into the creative universe of the artist who renewed contemporary dance and left an indelible influence.
